So, it’s official – we are homeschoolers.  So far it’s going ok.  Still trying to find our grove.  We have been easing into things this week.  The main things we have done are handwriting and math.  Sophie and Parker both seem to enjoy what we have picked out.  Other than that we are reading alot and we started a body unit.  First Parker and Sophie made paper models of their bodies, then we played with this cool site about how the body works.  We’ve also watch The Magic School Bus Explores the Human Body and The Magic School Bus Flexes Its Muscles.  We actually started the body unit before school started as a way to get our feet wet.  I am still waiting on a delivery before we can start our history program.  I will write more about that later, but am very excited about it as I love history!
